Thien Duong fairy house, over 200 years old, located on the outskirts of Da Nang, still retains the typical architecture of ancient Vietnamese houses.
Thien Duong Fairy House is located in Thai Lai village (Hoa Nhon commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city) with a history of more than 200 years, and is still kept intact with the typical architectural style of ancient Vietnamese houses.
The house is built in the style of three rooms, two wings, and the roof is covered with yin and yang tiles. It is one of the rare ancient houses remaining in Da Nang. The entire altar, sitting counter, pillars... are made from jackfruit wood, which has turned a glossy brown color over hundreds of years old. The exquisite carvings on the altar cabinets, rafters, pillars... were sculpted by artisans of Kim Bong Carpentry village (Hoi An, Quang Nam).
Inside the house, there are still old items used in daily activities such as dishes, kettles, copper pots, stone mortars, etc.
The house was once a shelter for many revolutionary soldiers during the war. Inside the house there is a cellar that can accommodate about 10 people. During their missions, soldiers often take shelter in the attic or below this basement.

The owner of this unique house - Mr. Do Huu Minh said that the house was built during his great-grandfather's time and has been more than 200 years old. The family has renovated the house many times but the core values remain intact. Currently, the house is among 25 valuable B-type projects in Da Nang City
