According to estimates, he lived in the late 11th and early 12th centuries. With the great contributions he made, local people built a temple to worship him at the foot of Duom Mountain. Duom Temple was built in the traditional three-step style including the Lower Temple, Middle Temple and Upper Temple in order from low to high along the mountainside.
