Muong Thanh field is the largest rice field in the Northwest region, larger than Muong Lo, Muong Than and Muong Tac. This place is the rich rice granary of Dien Bien province, covering more than 140 square kilometers and located at an altitude of more than 400 meters above sea level. This field stretches about 20 km long and about 6 km wide.
